FAQ

How long does it take from order date to completion of my home?

Although lead times vary slightly throughout the course of a year, Buckhorn Showcase will have your home completed within 12 months. * Due to such high demand please enquire on build timelines. (Due to the nature of winters in the northern USA, excavating and on-site construction is sometimes periodically halted at the hands of Mother Nature).

Who is responsible for permits?

Do to the fact that Buckhorn Showcase is a state certified modular builder, your home has a full set of engineer approved blueprints readily available. If any additional permits are needed from your county or building jurisdiction, Buckhorn Showcase will work with you and the building administration to accommodate the proper requirements.

How much will a foundation cost?

Foundations, driveways, and site-work are not included in our base price. A crawl space with 5 rows of block typically may cost between $12,000-$20,000. A full basement with concrete could be between $28,000 and $37,000. This is an estimated allowance. We will provide a detailed drawing for your mason that includes size and layout of the foundation. The mason contractor will be responsible to meet local regulations for the foundation. The house is fastened to the foundation's pressure treated sill plate with perforated steel plates.
